Sequoia Healthcare District serves the residents of central and southern San Mateo County. Specifically this includes the cities of Atherton, Belmont, Redwood City, Portola Valley, San Carlos, Woodside and portions of Menlo Park, Foster City and San Mateo.

SHD provides grants to non-profits and government agencies that offer health programs and services to District residents. Any community-based non-profit that serves Sequoia Healthcare residents are welcome to attend either session, including past and returning 1-year applicants.
