Go beyond "the board!"  Take a hands-on approach to learning how to use the Kanban Method to visualize and manage the flow of any sort of work, then apply the Method's evolutionary change approach to optimize the flow and speed delivery!

<p>In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of the Kanban Method, and how to Design (or Improve) a Kanban system to optimize flow, and speed the delivery of work - ie., stop starting work, start finishing work.</p><p>On day 1, we'll use a hands-on simulation to explore the anti-patterns we all recognize, and see the dramatic effects when we apply just a sample of the Kanban Practices.</p><p>For the rest of the class, we'll be using <a href="http://miro.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Miro</strong></a> for real-time labs, exercises and interactive content. (A Miro account is not required, but highly suggested. Please arrive with some amount of familiarity.)</p><p>We'll be using <a href="http://zoom.us" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><strong>Zoom</strong></a> for the class (please have it installed and configured prior to class). Please Note: We will be using webcams throughout the class. If you do not have a web camera, please send an email to admin@domorekanban.com.</p><h3>Who Should Attend?</h3><p>Anyone who wants to start a Kanban initiative, get more out of their current Kanban system, or simply wants to expand the breadth of their about the Kanban Method.</p><h3>Pre-requisities</h3><ul><li>Basic familiarity with Kanban and the Kanban Method (strongly recommend <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Kanban-Successful-Evolutionary-Technology-Business/dp/0984521402/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&amp;qid=&amp;sr=&amp;tag=coachlennon-20" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><em>Kanban</em></a> by David J. Anderson)</li><li><a href="http://zoom.us" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zoom</a> client installed</li><li>Familiarity with <a href="http://miro.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Miro</a>, browser-based visual collaboration software</li></ul><h3>Cancellations</h3><p>Full refunds will be issued to any participant that submits their refund request 10 business days or more prior to the start of the course.  Participants that submit requests for refunds less than 10 business days prior to the start of class will be issued a credit toward a future Do More Kanban! events and classes. Event credits will be equal to the amount paid for the initial course less any applicable fees.  In the event that the training is cancelled by Do More Kanban!, each registered participant will be refunded 100% of the registration cost.</p><h3>About Your Trainer</h3><p>Tim Lennon is an Agile Educator and Executive Coach with more than 10 years’ experience coaching, training, and elevating the performance of teams and organizations. Tim has over 20 years of experience as a technology engineer, with expertise that spans the technology stack and includes enterprise architecture.</p><p>As a leader, Tim has led the successful implementation of multi-million dollar projects for a variety of clients, championed transformational changes for multi-faceted technology organizations, and has led both small, large, and distributed multi-national teams. His client portfolio features a variety of fintech organizations, but also spans retail, healthcare and manufacturing organizations.</p>
