<p>Do, Process is a creative arts framework tasked with generating work grappling with the first three words of the preamble to the United States Constitution: “We, the people...” A multi-disciplinary offering/sharing to engage audiences in community-driven art focused on creating spaces to process. How do “we” confront the implications that arise when the foundational document of the United States of America does not equally protect all of its citizens?There will be three videos with three live performative sections with a q/a section. The performance elements are 40 minutes long, and the q/a could be 20-50 minutes long depending on need/want/facilitation support. Conversely, the discussion aspects of the show could be interwoven through the performance. I am also thinking about seating that opens up the space to incentivize discussion and possibly have folx move through the space and sit in different spots throughout the performance. Additionally, we could do real-time feedback by way of a jam board. Depending on if we can get some small group facilitators to hold space, I can make a final spoken word poem to capture the feedback generated.Led by: Brian Evans, Assistant Professor of Dance</p><p>Plavin Studio</p>
