Gallery Talk: ‘Artists in Exile’ with Sandev Handy

Join Curator Sandev Handy as he discusses artistic production and exile in relation to the Afro-Asian Writers’ Movement, which emerged in 1958 to champion third world anti-colonial struggles from a literary and cultural standpoint. Works by the movement are on display in ‘Encounters’ until 19 March 2023.සාහිත්‍යමය හා සංස්කෘතික ස්ථාවරයකින් තුන්වන ලෝකයේ යටත් විජිත විරෝධී අරගල ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම උදෙසා 1958 බිහිවූ අප්‍රිකානු-ආසියානු ලේඛකයන්ගේ ව්‍යාපාරය හා සම්බන්ධව කලාත්මක නිෂ්පාදනය සහ විප්‍රවාසය පිළිබඳව අභිරක්ෂක සන්දෙව් හැන්ඩිගේ සාකච්ඡාවට එක්වන්න. මෙම ව්‍යාපාරයේ කෘති 2023 මාර්තු 19 දක්වා ‘මුණගැසීම්හි’ ප්‍රදර්ශනයවේ.ஆபிரிக்க-ஆசிய எழுத்தாளர்கள் இயக்கமானது, காலனித்துவத்துக்கு எதிராக மூன்றாம் உலகப் போராட்டங்களை இலக்கிய மற்றும் கலாச்சார நிலைப்பாட்டிலிருந்து வென்றெடுக்க, 1958ம் ஆண்டில் தோன்றியது. இவ்வியக்கம் தொடர்பாக, கலைத் தயாரிப்பு மற்றும் நாடுகடந்து வாழ்தல் பற்றி MMCA இலங்கையின் எடுத்தாளுனரான சந்தேவ் ஹேண்டியுடன் கலந்துரையாடுவதற்கு வாருங்கள். ஆபிரிக்க-ஆசிய எழுத்தாளர்கள் இயக்கத்தின் படைப்புகள் 2023ம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் மாதம் 19ம் திகதி வரை ‘சந்திப்புகள்’ கண்காட்சியில் காட்சிப்படுத்தப்படும்.
