The Austin Group Psychotherapy Society is an interdisciplinary organization of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors who share a mutual commitment to continuing professional development and to excellence in the practice of group psychotherapy.Over the past decade, the Austin Group Psychotherapy Society (AGPS) has gained national recognition for the quality of our training opportunities and the warmth and enthusiasm of our members.AGPS trainings and social events are designed to mentor new professionals and students, expand the knowledge and clinical skills of all members, and enrich and rejuvenate established practitioners.

<H2>Sunday Night Diversity Dialogue An AGPS Quarterly Book/Film/Discussion Group The Fluidity of Desire in Group </H2>

The Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Committee will host an enlivening evening discussion surrounding the diversity of sexual expression, identity and desire in group psychotherapy. The dialogue will begin with a short didactic portion led by sex therapist, Dylan Davies, MA, LMFT, LPC. This will include a self-assessment for participants to reflect and identify areas of strength as well as growth edges with their relationship to a range of sexual topics and material. We will discuss the ethical importance of the therapist’s management of sexual diversity – how one manages sexual differences in group and how one might facilitate a more fluid, non-binary therapeutic frame. 
Non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks will be offered.
Charge:  There is no charge for this event.

Dylan Davies, M.A., LMFT Associate, LPC Intern is a psychotherapist who specializes in sex and couples therapy with particular interest in working with sexual shame and out-of-control sexual behavior (a.k.a. "sex addiction"). Her mission is to help her clients explore the paradoxes of sex and intimacy, prioritize pleasure and create more vitality in their lives - in and out of the bedroom. Dylan is passionate about the intersections of sexuality and group psychotherapy and exploring the ways in which the group setting can be a dynamic platform to promote psychosexual health for all clients.
