Enjoy a mindfulness-based, guided hike through Lyon Arboretum followed by a yoga session with views of Manoa Valley.

Science has documented that both being in nature and mindfulness practices such as yoga and meditation are good for your health. Experience these benefits yourself by joining us on a mindfulness based guided hike through Lyon Arboretum followed by yoga in a beautiful studio with stunning views of Mānoa Valley. Class size is limited, so sign up early. Each yoga and mindful hike session focuses on a different theme and expression. Previous yoga experience is not necessary. Instructor: Liz KashinskyPlease bring a yoga mat, water, journal and pencil/pen (if you want to journal your experiences after class). What to wear/bring:<ul><li>Yoga mat</li><li>Mask to wear in the Visitors Center and other indoor areas</li><li>Comfortable shoes with good traction</li><li>Long pants (to keep mosquitoes off. Optional: a light jacket or long-sleeved outer shirt.)</li><li>Mosquito repellent if possible</li><li>Rain jacket or poncho</li><li>Writing materials (optional but recommended)</li><li>Water bottle (optional but recommended)</li></ul>Deadline to sign up January 26, 2022.Yoga class will be held at the upstairs Visitor Center classroom with hike through the Lyon Arboretum grounds.P﻿roceeds from this class go to the Lyon Arboretum Education Department.
