The fantastic world of fungi is all around us but hidden to most! Learn about the identification, cultivation, and ecology of Hawaiian mushrooms.About the instructor: Eli Livezey studied Ecology at the Evergreen State college in Washington for his undergraduate degree. While in the PNW he learned to forage mushrooms and was hooked.Please come prepared to enjoy the Arboretum in rain or shine. The class will meet at the Education Building Classroom.We recommend the following:<ul><ul><li>Required: Comfortable shoes with good traction</li><li>Optional but recommended: Mask to wear in the Visitors Center</li><li>Optional but recommended: Long pants or leggings (to keep mosquitoes off)</li><li>Optional but recommended: Mosquito repellent if possible.</li><li>Optional but recommended: Rain jacket or poncho.</li><li>Optional: Water bottle and a hat with a brim if the weather has been hot and sunny</li><li>Optional: Snack</li></ul></ul>
