Call 203-247-4273Karl Latham - DrumsKarl Latham has performed with Grammy Award winning artists, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members and many acclaimed artists including The Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Group, John Lee with Cyrus Chestnut, Clark Terry, Slide Hampton, Freddie Hendrix, The Fantasy Band with Dave Valentine, Noel Pointer, Larry Coryell, Cornell Dupree and Victor Bailey, Johnny Winter, The Shirelles (Music Director), Bernie Worrell and Edgar Winter.  Karl leads his own group “Living Standards” and co-leads Don Braden/Karl Latham Big Fun(K).  Karl performed in the groups of Wolfgang Lackerschmid and Johannes Mossinger in Europe for decades. Karl has subbed on the Broadway productions of “Bring It On”, “Hamilton”, “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”, and “Ain’t Too Proud”.  Karl is member of the Percussive Arts Society Education Committee, and a long serving adjunct professor at Drew University, County College of Morris and PCCC.Karl is an endorsing artist for Yamaha Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, ProMark Drumsticks, RME, AEA, Heil Sound and Big Fat Snare.Karl is included in the Drummerworld Top Drummers list.Mike Griot - BassMike Griot has criss-crossed the world for several decades as a sought-after bass player in a variety of musical genres including, blues, funk, jazz, gospel, and rock. NY appearances at The Lone Star Cafe, The Other End, The Village Gate, And Kenny’s Castaways. Opening act for Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam &amp; Dave, Luther Allison, and Buckwheat Zydeco. Toured Southeast (Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida) with Jaimo Johnson (of the Allman Bros. Band). Released Independent Single. Recorded Demos for Capricorn Records in Macon, GA. The band played a blend of R &amp; B, Jazz and Fusion, instrumental and vocal music. Line-ups featured Vocalist James “Crabbe” Robinson, Saxophonists Bob Franceschini, Cornelius Bumpus, and Fred Vigdor, Bassists Paul Adamy and Oskar Cartaya (Spyro Gyra), Drummers Brian Doherty (They Might Be Giants) and Tony Cintron (Patti Austin). The band left its mark when much of the original repertoire was subsequently recorded on abums by The SOS All Stars, The Dream, and James Robinson’s solo album “Guilty” on Tabu Records.

We're sorry, there are no refunds after tickets have been purchased. In the event of a pandemic, rain, snow, or other forms of weather which prohibit a performance, the performance date will be postponed and rescheduled for another date within a reasonable amount of time. If the new date is postponed, a future alternate date will be picked at the discretion of Bethel Jazz and the musical artist. The ticket holder will be notified of postponements, cancelations, and rescheduled dates via email. Tickets are non-refundable and may be transferred to another person in the event a purchaser can not make the rescheduled date. In the event, an artist cancels a date, and Bethel Jazz is unable to reschedule the artist, Bethel Jazz reserves the right to provide a substitute performer of equal quality without notice to the ticket purchaser. If a date is canceled and not rescheduled, Bethel Jazz will provide a refund (in some cases minus the Eventbrite fee) or credit for another performance at the choice of the ticket holder. Bethel Jazz will always do its best to accommodate for changes in seating, table sizes, or changes to tickets.
