Perpich Arts High School Musical Theater presents "Life: A Woman's Journey"

Perpich Center for Arts Education is the state agency established by the Minnesota legislature to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential.Perpich Center for Arts Education has three primary programs:-The statewide, public, accredited, residential arts high school for 11th and 12th grades-The statewide arts education library, offering an extensive collection of books and materials for use by teachers, artists, students and the public-Outreach, which offers statewide professional arts integration development, serves as administration for Turnaround Arts: Minnesota, provides standards-based arts education planning and curriculum development for Minnesota K-12 schools

Perpich Arts High School Musical Theater Ensemble is happy to present "Life: A Woman's Journey".What happens when eight intelligent, thoughtful, caring, and determined young women get together to create a musical theater revue? You end up with a show like "Life: A Woman's Journey".The members of Company - the PCAE Musical Theater Ensemble - put together this show to highlight the diversity of women and their experiences, while exploring themes common with all women's lives - heartbreak, overcoming stereotypes, sisterhood (given or chosen), sex, finding validation, and many other examples of the trial and error as we discover ourselves and learn to love the women we are today.Please make plans to see the show! Shows are on December 1 at 7:00 p.m., December 2 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
