Beginners Virtual Knitting Workshop - December 14th @ 7pm Pacific

We're an online knitting destination.  We sell ethically-sourced yarns and kits, as well as our favorite needles, notions, tools and must-haves for makers.  And we love beginner knitters, so we set up KnitSchool on our site to give a new knitter all of the resources to get started (and our designs work with our videos for a seamless experience).

Learn to knit in our Beginners Virtual Knitting Workshop

Do you want to learn to knit? Our workshop is designed for absolute beginners and uses a combination of live instruction and our skills videos (our YouTube videos have been viewed more than 150k times). In the course of the session, you will learn to cast on and knit. If there&#x27;s time, you&#x27;ll learn to purl, and we&#x27;ll give you a video link to learn how to bind off.What do they cost? $15. Because they are small events, we ask that people be respectful and cancel their slot as early as possible, if their schedule changes, so that others can take their spot.What materials do I need? Yarn and needles. In the workshop, we will be focusing on our <a href="https://rowhouseyarn.com/products/garter-stitch-coasters?_pos=1&amp;_sid=1e4337c87&amp;_ss=r" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Beginner Coasters Free Design</a> (or buy the Kit), but the skills will work for most beginner designs. You are welcome to buy materials from us - we sell <a href="https://rowhouseyarn.com/collections/beginner-kits-1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Beginner Kits</a> - or you can bring your own materials, your choice. One! If people are interested in taking more advanced sessions, we may add those in the future. And if you&#x27;ve taken one and have questions here or there, you can always join a Virtual Knit Night or email us for some follow up help.
