Dried Flower Arrangement Workshop

We are sisters Susannah and Lillian Calhoun, and along with our mother Diane Bigbee Calhoun, we grow cut flowers in southern Dona Ana County.Thanks to our extended growing season and diverse plantings, we grow a variety of incredibly beautiful, seasonal flowers and foliage that can be picked at the farm (see our many "u-picks") and found in local grocery stores/cafes and florists' shops.

Come design a dried flower arrangement and celebrate the holiday season with us! Made with locally grown dried botanicals.

La Mesa

Join us Saturday morning, November 19th, from 10:00am - 11:30am, and welcome the holidays by creating a striking dried floral arrangement. This will be a terrific addition to your seasonal decor just in time for Thanksgiving day or make it one of the most memorable gifts you will bring to your host this year!You will begin with a pint-sized cantarito jar as our designers guide you to work with a variety of textures and materials. Learn professional design techniques for creating and keeping your artful masterpiece.Enjoy some delicious nosh and a relaxing morning at the flower farm.All materials, tools, and supplies will be provided.Add-On Option: Take your dried arrangement to the next level with a nopal; you can add on as many as you&#x27;d like to elevate your design!A few notes about this event and your visit to our farm:<ul><li>W﻿e are a FARM! We know, that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! Keep in mind that you will be walking on uneven surfaces, there may be muddy sections, too (even in the desert) and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear. </li></ul><ul><li>T﻿his workshop is a relaxed outdoor event for you and your friends; have fun creating your arrangement! Also, watch for future workshop events if you are eager to learn floral design techniques.</li></ul><ul><li>There will be NO ticket sales at the door. If the minimum number of tickets has not been sold, we reserve the right to cancel and refund. </li></ul><ul><li>Please read your EMAIL confirmation!
