2018年中美贸易法律知识讲座

Our agency was established in 2013 based in Santa Clara and engaged in multiple development projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the U.S.A. We specialize in residential and commercial real estate development and management. 2017年，美国于中国的贸易逆差达到了3752亿美元，这种不平衡发展或许是中美贸易的导火索，自三月以来，川普以贸易为重点采取了一系列的措施，态度强硬，动作迅速。随之而来对中兴的制裁更是使得中兴陷入“植物人”的困境当中，然而此举无疑是伤敌一千，自损八百的举措。近日，中美两国都表现出愿意做出让步，以缓和贸易的紧张关系。美国政府声称中国将准备增加购买2000亿美元的商品和服务，同时也将购买更多的农业和能源出口商品，但由于最终的协议和细节还没有达成，中美贸易战停战中美双方将付出什么样的代价还是一个未知数。
针对中美目前的貿易问题，David Mao （茅志勇律师）将带领我们分析我们所面临的美国公司的机会以及包括知识产权在內的貿易问题的法律影响。

David Mao is a PRC registered and licensed attorney practicing law at Shanghai Pioneer Law Office, one of the oldest downtown law firms in Shanghai. 
Shanghai Pioneer, part of Pacific NorthWest Law Group (http://pnwlg.com/), serves its clients from a PRC law perspective with its expertise in areas such as foreign investment and trade, banking, securities, corporate and commercial matters.  The firm also has constant working relationship with Perkins Coie.
David has over ten years of practice experience in China focusing on foreign direct investment in China.  Prior to Shanghai Pioneer, David worked as a foreign legal consultant for various international firms such as Baker & McKenzie, Herbert Smith and Davis Wright & Tremaine.  He had worked as a trade finance officer at the Bank of America.
David is a 1988 graduate of Shanghai Zhenxing Comparative Law Institute.  In 1992, he received his LL.M. degree from the University of Washington and received his MBA from Seattle University in 1997.
David is counsel for Shanghai Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Pudong Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Wujin Chinese Overseas Office in Jiangsu Province.  David is also Vice President of Hong Kong China Hawaii Chamber of Commerce and Councilor of Shanghai Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
David is also a frequent speaker for American Bar Association.  His recent speech includes TPP Impact on FDI in China at both ABA Spring 2016 in New York and ABA Fall 2016 in Tokyo, and Cybersecurity Law and its Relevant Regulations at ABA Fall 2017 in Shanghai.
茅志勇律师,现为上海市百业律师所主任，曾先后在国际型麦坚时律师行，史密夫律师行，美国戴维斯律师事务所从事法务工作。此外，他还在美国银行从事金融工作。
茅律师在完成上海市振兴比较法进修学院学业之后，赴美深造，并获得华盛顿大学法学硕士和西雅图大学商业管理硕士学位。
茅律师为夏威夷中国香港商会副会长、上海市侨商会理事和常州市侨联海外顾问，并与美国博钦律师事务所有长期的合作关系。
随着中国国际地位的不断显现，茅律师对未来充满着信心。他将以其国内外广泛的知识和经验以及良好的服务态度，为企业在中国的投资和贸易提供有力的法律支持。
