Award-winning curator and writer Sara Raza is joined by artist Ala Younis and curator Inga Lace to discuss Raza's new book, Punk Orientalism

<p>Join us to celebrate SVA MA Curatorial Practice faculty member Sara Raza’s recently published book <em>Punk Orientalism: The Art of Rebellion</em> (Black Dog Press, London). This timely book explores art and ideas related to the spaces and places associated with the former Soviet Union during and after the Cold War and extends to examine USSR’s complex relationship with the Arab world, Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey by proxy. Raza will be joined by one of the book’s featured artists, Ala Younis, whose research investigates Soviet era film clubs across the Arab world, and Inga Lace, C-MAP Central and Eastern Europe Fellow at the Museum of Modern Art. </p>
