We organize events, negotiate benefits for our members, hold seminars, promote our members’ work, organize photo contests, and much more.APA’s mission is Successful Photographers.Our goal is to establish, endorse and promote professional practices, standards and ethics in the photographic community. We seek to mentor, motivate, educate and inspire in the pursuit of excellence. Join us for a funday Sunday at Fotografiska in Manhattan! We will meet up in the lounge on the 6th floor of Fotografiska for a get-together before we tour the museum-wide David LaChapelle show.Your discounted entry price includes a beverage, so enjoy a coffee or a mimosa, and partake in the conversation about the future of APA, our larger photo community and how you can get involved.Then it’s off to wander through the lucious exhibit! You’ll have the option of going through at your own pace, and you can use the museum&#x27;s free audio guide and listen to David LaChapelle talk about his work as you wander through.Fotografiska describes the LaChapelle show like this:Enter the world of @David_LaChapelle at his first major museum solo exhibition in North America and our first building-wide show. LaChapelle’s iconic images have established him as one of the most influential artists of our time. With over 150 works, the collection blurs reality and fantasy, highlighting the artists’ most iconic works while also presenting new creations for the very first time.This event is for APA members only. APA is covering half the cost of your museum entry fee and a drink.
