Sketch It Studio is run by TJ Marston, an Urban Sketcher and Illustator from Miami Florida. A self-proclaimed sketchbook addict and former landscape  designer and educator, TJ knows the frustration of growing artists who struggle to loosen up in their sketchbook and the joy of capturing the world around you on paper. She loves to share her passion for fearless sketching through courses online and in person! She regularly teaches in-person courses atFairchild Gardens. Crandon Park

One of the best ways to connect to the environment is to draw it. Learn how to identify and capture native Florida plants as you fill a sketchbook with color filled spreads in this fun filled sketching workshop. This workshop is led by urban sketchers TJ <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sketchitstudio/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marston (@sketchitstudio)</a> and Ana Rodriguez (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/nitastrokes/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@nitastrokes</a>).No drawing experience necessary. Each workshop participant will receive a free mini sketchbook. Bring your own favorite sketching supplies or use ones provided!This event is FREE thanks to the generous support from Miami Dade County. It will be held at <a href="https://www.miamidade.gov/global/news-item.page?Mduid_news=news1666213350887464" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Crandon Parks 75th Jubilee Celebration</a> at Crandon Gardens (free event) on Nov 20 from 10-11am. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!Suggested Ages : 12+ A sketch table for smaller children will be provided for workshop participants. You do not need to reserve a seat at this table for children under 12 as they are not officially participating in the workshop. They are free to hang out at the sketch table! Supervision is required.
