THE BAXBYS are a psychedelic pop band from Amherst, MA. With influences heavy in 80's-00's new wave and alternative, the group aims to create a new sound that brings working bands back into the mainstream. Formed in January 2021, the band consists of drummer Chris Sciucco, bassist Spencer Rosenfeld, lead guitarist James Miller, and singer/guitarist Alex Nordlund. https://www.thebaxbys.com/TOXIC FRIENDS is the latest project by indie rock icon Eric Gaffney "Sebadoh Co-Founder Eric Gaffney's Bandcamp Is a Treasure Trove of Unreleased Material" "Gaffney spent the years since making tons of interesting music away from the Sebadoh spotlight. Much of it can be heard and bought via three Bandcamp sites that Gaffney runs, all of which teem with sounds made in different locales and time periods.
