Cruise for Shoes: A Tasting Trip Around the World

Our mission as a club is to serve children in need in Vigo County.The Terre Haute Women's Club was founded in July 1971 by Scotty Terhune & Pat Derks.  Today we serve the children of Vigo County by providing grades K-12 with brand new athletic shoes through our "Shoe Bus Project".  Children are recommended by school nurses for new shoes.  Students receiving shoes also receive two pairs of new socks.  The club purchases all the shoes and some of the socks.  The shoes are then distributed through the use of a modified van that makes weekly "Shoe Bus Runs" to Vigo County schools.All proceeds from donations and our fundraisers solely benefit the "Shoe Bus" project.If you or anyone you know would be interested in joining the Terre Haute Women's Club and volunteering for the Shoe Bus Project, email us at TerreHauteWomensClub@gmail.com .

Hulman Center

Pack your bags, the Terre Haute Women&#x27;s Club is taking you on another trip AROUND THE WORLD!Guests will pick up a passport upon arrival at the ISU Hulman Center. From there, they will set sail to different countries around the concourse, tasting small bites + drink pairings from local restaurants, while getting their passport stamped at each destination. We will end our trip at the glass atrium where guests can enjoy dessert, dueling pianos from the Poplar Pub, snap their passport photos, sip on signature cocktails, watch live cigar rolling, win a door prize, and take a look inside our shoe bus!Tickets will be available for purchase soon!
