The Oneida Community Mansion House, tells the story of the Oneida Community (1848-1880), America’s most successful experimental community whoseradical social practices challenged contemporary ideas of family and gender roles in ways still relevant today.Today, the Mansion House is a National Historic Landmark and history museum surrounded by landscaped lawns, gardens, trails and a historic golf course. It offers tours, programs, facility rentals, and overnight lodging.

From Ithaca, NY Joe Crookston is a songwriter, guitarist, painter, fiddler, slide player, eco-village member and believer in all things possible. He’ll surprise you and awaken the cynics. He’s plumbing for lyrical gold like a social archeologist. His songs are universal, his rhythm infectious and in concert, he is funny as hell one moment and transcendent the next.
