The Power With Grace

Join Michelle Franchetti as we dance in honor of Steve Franchetti and Bruno's Deli, all while raising money for By the Bay Health!

After 20 years in the wine industry, Steve Franchetti left his position in search of something more personal and when the pandemic hit, his options narrowed. For years, Steve dreamt of owning and running a local food establishment, and with his new freedom and time on his hands, he dove into opening an Italian deli and market to honor his father Bruno. Throughout the pandemic, Steve and his family perfected new and family recipes and a year later, opened <a href="https://brunositaliandeli.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bruno&#x27;s Italian Deli, Market &amp; Cafe</a>.

Sadly, only 8 months into this new chapter, Steve was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The family and community rallied around Steve and kept Bruno&#x27;s Deli open. 5 months after diagnosis and surgery, Steve passed away due to this illness and was greatly supported by family, friends and hospice care. The Franchetti Family wants to acknowledge (<a href="https://bythebayhealth.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">By The Bay Health</a>) hospice&#x27;s compassionate care of Steve and support their mission of caring for loved ones in their family home through this fundraiser.T﻿hank you!
