<p>‘Food at Home’ is a storytelling project that explores the role of ethnic cuisine in creating identity and belonging for first generation American families. Our storytellers include writers, artists and health care professionals. They come from diverse backgrounds and different families. But, they are all women and they all live in Maryland. Join us at Mera Kitchen Collective as Laila El-Haddad, Neha Misra, Soo  Koo and Melody Nangle unpack their families' food stories in America in conversation with Saima Adil Sitwat, writer and producer of 'Food at Home'. </p>

<p>Funding for Food at Home is provided by Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC). This storytelling session is produced in partnership with Mera Kitchen Collective. </p>
