TheTools Competitionruns annual, global funding opportunities for innovative, research-driven learning technologies addressing pressing issues for learners worldwide. The program invites proposals for early stage ideas through established platforms and from individuals and teams from all backgrounds. The 2023-24 Tools Competition is supported by Schmidt Futures, Griffin Catalyst, the Walton Family Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Siegel Family Endowment, the Ballmer Group, Calbright College, Axim Collaborative, Endless, and OpenAI.

Join our info session on Thursday, November 10 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Eastern Time to learn about <a href="https://toolscompetition.org/darpa/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DARPA’s AI Tools for Adult Learning</a>, sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA is seeking your innovative ideas for tools or technologies to enhance learning and skills development among adults. The opportunity will award a total of $750,000.Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Joshua Elliott, DARPA AI Tools for Adult Learning Program Manager, and participate in a Q&A with organizers. The deadline for <a href="https://toolscompetition.org/submit-your-proposal/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">abstract submissions</a> is December 18, 2022.
