Cabernet Franc is often relegated as a blending grape. But these winemakers understand that it is a grape variety that is worthy as a single varietal wine. The conversation will include behind the scenes stories of how the wines are made, tasting through wines, and discussions of how Cabernet Franc grows in various regions. S﻿it down virtually with winemakers who produce single varietal Cabernet Franc. Discussion will include how Cabernet Franc grows it different regions, the characteristics you can expect in your glass, and why Cabernet Franc is worthy of so much more than a blending grape. You will be able to ask the winemakers questions. No purchase is necessary to participate, but if you would like to purchase a bottle to taste along with the winemakers, feel free to do so.
