A﻿BOUT THIS EVENTThe Black Foxes, an international collective of Black cyclists reclaiming their narratives in the outdoors, will host a screening of their short film &quot;The Black Foxes&quot; (2021) at The Cedar! Join us for a live screening, discussion of the film, and Q&amp;A. Minneapolis based Black Fox, Raeqwan Wilson, will lead the discussion following the film and be on hand to answer any questions. Please RSVP to the free event.&quot;The Black Foxes is an international collective of unapologetically Black cyclists reclaiming the freedom and joy of the outdoors. On their first anniversary in June 2021, The Black Foxes gathered to celebrate, reflect, and envision the road ahead. Due to the state of the world in 2020, for many of them it was the first time meeting in person.&quot;Cast/CrewDirector: B. T﻿HE BLACK FOXESSince the days of fur trapping, black foxes have been caged, domesticated, and stripped of their blackness to fuel an economy. As Black people, through our bodies, our language, and our culture, we share this experience. The Black Foxes is an international collective of unapologetically Black cyclists and outdoors-people that are reclaiming our narratives and roles in the outdoors. We embody the journey of the black fox by connecting fellow riders and outdoors people, sharing our stories, and providing more representation within cycling and the outdoors.
