Litquake 2022

San Francisco's Litquake literary festival runs from October 6-22, and includes over 100 events, featuring 300+ authors in a variety of venues throughout the city.

<p>Happy Endings is a new reading series that takes place at the Make-Out Room every second Tuesday. Each show features five writers, poets, and comedians from the Bay Area who are asked to explore the outrageous and elusive notion of happiness, along with a dynamic monthly theme. Judges from the audience choose a favorite reader, who is invited to return and to help curate by recommending their favorite local writers. This helps make new friends and keep the stage open to the Bay&#x27;s vast and varied well of story-tellers. The show was recently featured as a Datebook Pick in the San Francisco Chronicle. Featuring Nazelah Jamison, Kar Johnson, Raul Ruiz, and Zoe Young. <strong>FREE, $5-10 suggested donation.</strong></p>
