Designers serve a critical role as communicators, educators and innovators. Founded in 1914, AIGA is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. AIGA’s mission is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic tool, and vital cultural force.AIGA supports design professionals, educators and students throughout their careers. AIGA represents a variety of professions under the umbrella of communication design, ranging from book and type design to interactive and user experience design.Northwest Arkansas is a proven hub for creative work, and has had an AIGA chapter since 2017. The board is made up of representatives from Northwest Arkansas companies, agencies and educational institutions.

Join us for town hall table talks where we’re bringing together a variety of professionals from different career stages and educational backgrounds to share their experiences through informal conversation.We appreciate everyone who gave input on table topics! As a result, table topics will include working at an agency, how to get into design education, and freelancing with bonus anecdotes about remote work. We'll also have a table for sharing books, podcasts, and games you have come across or are rediscovering.
