Gregory Burrusis a local live music ambassador, event planner, and  community partner that curates, manages and promotes live music events in the local SOMA (South Orange, Maplewood) community, Northern NJ and New York Area.Gregory Burrus sits on a number of local boards and committees and is currently serving as a Board Member ofMaplewood Community Music.Year-round Gregory Burrus also curates and produces: theJazz973live music jazz series atClements Place Jazzfor theRutgers University Institute of Jazz Studies,  Jazzy Nights Live Music performancesDuring the Summer months Gregory manages and promotes theDowntownSouth Orange  summer long live music concerts, the annual24 Hours of MusicFestival and the June thru October Orange Farmers Market Jazz Jam and produces Live Music entertainment for  Downtown Cranford Summer and Autumn Live Music Series..In addition to producing events, Gregory also showcases, photographs, videotapes events annually such as the annual NYC John Jay CollegeFriends of Myrna Bain ScholarshipFundraiser, the Orange NJ Farmers Market,SOPAC Playing Around South Orangealong with booking bands at various other local venues.Gregory Burrus has a passion for making live music happen anywhere and everywhere he can whether locally around town or around the world while living life everyday to the fullest. <h3>Announcing Jazz973 at Clements Place Jazz Singer Showcase. </h3>Clements Place Jazz Local Singers Showcase where you get to experience the best jazz singers from your towns and cities all in one night. 11/02/2022 This 2022 session features vocalists Rosalind Grant, Frank Noviello, Barbara Hassenfeld all supported by the Pianist Nick Masters, Anthony Perez on Bass and Winard Harper on Drums and Charlie Sigler on Guitar. with introductions by DJRoc M . This is a unique event that you won't want to miss - come hear and see for yourself!That's right 1 night, 1 swinging band and 3 fabulous singers each performing their favorite tunes just for you. At the end of the night a rousing performance the collective will to knock your socks off for a really great night of jazz. 3﻿ Dates for 2022 10/12, 11/2 and 11/9
