Join the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage &amp; Hour Division, for this information-packed webinar focusing on the federal Family and Medical Leave Act’s (FMLA) Military Family Leave provisions – specifically, the qualifying exigency leave and military caregiver leave provisions. The FMLA applies to businesses with 50 or more employees.The FMLA entitles eligible employees of covered employers to take up to 12 workweeks of unpaid, job-protected FMLA leave during a 12-month period for a qualifying exigency arising from the foreign deployment of the employee’s covered family member with the Armed Forces. In addition, a covered employer must grant an eligible employee up to 26 workweeks of unpaid, job-protected FMLA leave during a 12-month period to care for a covered servicemember with a serious injury or illness.Come learn the details of these provisions and the responsibilities of both employers and employees!
