Heather Houston is a Santa Cruz-based song leader, choral director, recording artist, and vocal empowerment coach with over 30 years of experience in uplifting hearts and building community through the power of song. Founder of the Yala Lati Women’s Choir and creator of the Sisters in Harmony Retreats, Heather leads transformative singing experiences both in person and online, including at venues like Esalen, Sivananda Bahamas, and 1440 Multiversity. Her music, rooted in themes of healing, unity, and connection with nature, is sung by communities worldwide and can be found in her online song library and on all major streaming platforms.

<p></p><h2>Sacred Women&#x27;s Circles Meet Harmony Singing</h2><ul><li>Embody songs that evoke the magic of the Autumn season. </li><li>Experience the power of women&#x27;s voices rising in spirals of living prayer. </li><li>Free your voice, attune your ear, harmonize, improvise, and feel the joy in your heart!</li><li>Discover the magic of timeless, heart-opening chants and songs from diverse traditions and artists that inspire a deeper connection to ourselves, each other, the planet, and the spirit of Life that moves through us all.</li><li>Classes are held in an easy to follow, call and repeat style. We use the oral tradition of singing. No need to read sheet music. </li><li>You will learn basic vocal technique, how to trust your own voice, and how to harmonize and blend with the group.</li><li>You will be invited to sing your prayers, intentions, griefs, gratitudes, and praises. </li></ul><h3></h3><h3>The weaving of vocal vibration, deep intention, and radiant joy, shared by a sacred community of women is the most powerful form of prayer we know to manifest our dreams and transform our lives!</h3><p></p><h3>The Specifics: </h3><ul><li>Please arrive early to get settled. We will begin on-time. </li><li>Consider time for parking - the garage on River Street is great! </li><li>Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move and breathe in. </li><li>Bring water </li><li>Bring item for the altar that represents an area of your life that needs some tending. </li><h3></h3></ul><h3>Free Class:</h3><p>Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, 7:00 - 8:30 pm </p><p>You&#x27;ll need to reserve your spot, as we only have space for 30 women</p><p>This free class will be followed by a 6-week Deep Autumn Series - Culminating on the Winter Solstice</p><h3>Six Week Deep Autumn Series:</h3><p>Wednesdays: November 16, 23, 30, Dec. 7, 14, &amp; 21 - Culminating on the Winter Solstice!</p><p>7:00 - 8:30 pm </p><p>Pre-registration required</p><p>Partial and Full Scholarships available. Please inquire at the intro night.</p><h3></h3><h3>What Else:</h3><ul><li>Partial scholarships and trades are availble for those who may need that. </li><li>We will be sitting in chairs and on cushions, AND be standing and dancing. </li><li>Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in.</li><li>Please bring a water bottle</li><li>Please bring and item for the altar that represents an area of your life that needs some holding.
