The show was the spark that ignited the fire , that changed the face of burlesque .Even before the Star Wars burlesque show hit the internet , Devils Playground was already notorious for it’s “ Nerdlesque “ themes . Comic Book and Video Game Character themed shows were first infused with striptease by Devils Playground starting in 2008 . LAWeekly and G4 Tv quickly took notice and began covering all of our nerdy themed shows as news on their websites . Burlesque shows globally have adopted the creative concept of combining burlesque with such beloved pop culture characters to bring fantasies to life.With the LA Weekly&#x27;s image of producer and creator Courtney Cruz lighting up the internet as the Sexy Stormtrooper going viral and ending up on thousands of websites , tv shows and magazines just days after the first performance the show gained a cult following over the last thirteen years it has been running in various venues all over Los Angeles , San Diego, San Francisco. Star Girls performances have been featured in New York&#x27;s Nerdlesque Festivals as well as the Viva Las Vegas burlesque showcase. Star Girls is a cast of top shelf female entertainers which include award-winning performance artists, a contortionist , violinist , professional choreographers , bump and ginders and strip-tease queeens all well versed in the art of undressing. We are not your average strip show ! We are proud to feature a rotating cast with twenty different acts so you are sure to never see the same lineup twice.Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character and enter our Best Costume Contest! Meet and greet to get your picture with the performers after the show concludes.
