The Sound Room is aptly named. The focus is on the sound or the music. Unlike clubs where the performance may be peripheral to the experience, at the Sound Room the performance is the experience.  We are an all-ages listening room. We exist to present great music and promote jazz as an art form.The Sound Room is the home of Bay Area Jazz & Arts, a  501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on promoting the Arts.

As part of the anniversary celebration for the Sound Room, we are featuring a special ALL HEADLINER comedy show. Stand UP Broadway has been a recurring show at the Sound Room. It&#x27;s usally on 1st Fridays, but for the anniversary celebration we have moved it to coincide with the festivities.
