Indie Game Business began as a Twitch show intended to teach the business, licensing, and marketing aspects of game development to developers.  Nearly a year later the show has helped countless teams and featured interviews with dozens of industry experts and veteran teams.Indie Game Business is produced and funded by The Powell Group.  A consulting firm led by 20 year industry veteran, Jay Powell.  The Powell Group has managed conferences and supported the growth of developers, publishers, and service providers for nearly 10 years.
