We are delighted to announce the British Nordic Walking Instructor Convention is taking place by Zoom on Saturday 19th November 2022.

After the success of last year's event we hope you will join us for our third Annual Convention via Zoom on Saturday 19th November between 9.30 am and 11.30am. Please note that the content of this event will not be available to view afterwards.This year we have split the content for our traditional annual convention into two parts.Part One will be a Zoom convention covering lots of useful information to inform and help you plan for your Nordic Walking activities in 2023.Part Two will be a series of zoom CPD training events delivered by our team of National Trainers at a variety of locations across the UK. These practical workshops will focus on the new 10 Steps and will also include other practical tips for helping you teach people how to Nordic Walk. Instructors will also be welcomed to part of the INWA Nordic Walk Instructor training if they would like face to face training. Part One – The online convention on November 19th from 9.30 - 11.30am.You will hear all about the work of INWA and BNW over the past twelve months from board member Brad Blake. Our CEO, Catherine Hughes, will update you from the latest convention in Croatia. We also have fabulous guest speakers lined up and we will give you chance to meet other instructors and explore ideas for growing Nordic Walking.

Instructor S﻿imon Clark will be chatting with National Trainer Steve Ellis about his journey to become an INWA Nordic Walking following a serious road traffic accident in 2019.

E﻿lla Ferris will give an introduction on Safeguarding for Adults and how it is relevant to your business / project.
