In November, we are excited to have Josi Heron, the Founder and CEO of Waypoints Equity . She will deep dive about Sunrise Terrace, a 47 unit property in Lawrence, Kansas and managing a value add with student housing.She founded Waypoints Equity, LLC in 2019 bringing with her 21 years of experience in engineering, finance, leadership and program management positions. She has lead acquisitions of multifamily properties as a general partner totaling 375 units in the Midwest and growing markets through partnerships and relationships, and supported many more. This portfolio has grown over the last three years from 3 single family rentals to a dynamic investment company, with plans to grow significantly over the next five years.She leads two multifamily masterminds, one for professional women and one for military members. Prior to shifting fulltime to syndication, Josi was a Program Manager and Senior Consultant in the Jacobs Engineering Asset Management Strategies Group, creating gain and maximizing investment in large infrastructure projects, including the Air Force’s $22B facilities budget. Josi is a Coast Guard Reservist where she has served a total of 22 active and reserve years.
