Loews Coral Gables Hotel at The Plaza Coral Gables

This year marks The Beacon Council’s 37th year as Miami-Dade County’s official economic development partnership. Presented by Florida Power & Light, the 2022 Annual Meeting and accompanying Annual Report serve to highlight the incredible impact that The Beacon Council’s recruitment and engagement efforts have had over the past year – and what that means to Miami-Dade County in the long-term as we work to MARKET, GROW, and SHAPE this community’s economic future. Our first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019, November 17th’s event promises to bring together private and public sector leaders and some of the top companies in this community. A genuine celebration, we will recognize the companies that worked with Beacon over the past year and thank outgoing officers and leaders, including outgoing 2021-2022 Chair George Bermudez who will pass the gavel to Yolanda Cash Jackson, incoming FY2022-2023 Chair. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava will provide remarks and join us in engaging with recent arrivals at the networking reception, which includes a Company Showcase and displays from some of our Created In Miami partners. For information on available Sponsorship Opportunities, contact Julio Piti, VP of Development at JPiti@BeaconCouncil.com.
