Tradionatl Spread of Burmese cuisine Pre-Fix Menu set by Chef Myo Than venu Hosted by Liza Meli (owner of Bar Meli 6), Myo Than (Chef de Cuisine), James Alexandre Cintron ( Sous Chef). Very traditional and communal seating for this rare cuisine from Myanmar. Fresh vegetables and herbs, Indian spices, some Thai flavors and a Chinese touch. Burmese cuisine is so much more.Expected the unexpected to go on a journey half the world away. Our dishes to be experienced from beginning to end. -Laphet Thoke, Pickled Tea Leaf Salad with tomatos, fried peanuts, julienned cabbage with a side of Thai chilis -Gin Thoke, Julienned Freah Ginger with cabbage and fried peanuts~Winter Melon Soup cooked with Bone Broth~Nyan Gyi Thoke, Udon noodles tossed in a light chicken curry and tamarind sauce-Samosa, stuffed with potato and vegetables~Sweet Prawns, braised in a sweet and herbaceous tomato sauce~Traditional Beef Curry with Potatos~Sour Leaf sautéed with bamboo shoots and chili~~side of Steamed Jasmine Rice cooked with Bayleaves **All dishes throughout the night will be accompanied by fresh or blanched vegetables and sauces indigenous to tradional Burmese cuisine. ~Dessert~-Coconut Milk Sticky Rice stuffed with candied shredded coconut and banana, steamed in a banana leaf**FULL DISCLOSURE**We apologize there will not be a vegan option or gluten free.
