The Richmond District office is responsible for the delivery of SBA programs and services to 92 counties in Virginia (excluding the counties of Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun, and cities of Alexandria, Fairfax and Falls Church which are served by ourWashington, D.C. District Office). The Richmond District office is located in the Federal Building, Suite 1150, 400 North 8th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219. The focus of the business is to provide a service or product to paying customers and to grow that customer demand. As a business grows, the business becomes segmented into support groups. As this growth takes place, the focus on profitability diminishes across the total business areas. So today we what to investigate how to maintain this profitability focus and what items to address across all groups in order to minimize financial waste. “Each penny of waste eliminated creates an additional penny of profit!”Today we will address:General internal communications on profitability across the company’s departments/support groupsFocus on addressing profitability in each department of the companyIdentifying Items that create Financial WasteIdentifying items to reduce or eliminate Financial WasteFocusing not only on today’s situations, but also on the future Andrew Shulick established his company in 2004 - Metamorphosis Management Consulting, LLC. His consulting services focus is on People and Process to maximize Productivity and Profitability. His background is engineering, project management, management, and leadership. His experience has been both domestic and international, worked with start-ups through Fortune 500 corporations, and worked in various areas: electrical utility, manufacturing, Project Management, Project Management instruction, and business coaching. He has participated in many organizations as a member and officer: IEEE, PMI-CVC, BizWorks, VCU, VSU, plus others. He received the “2010 Volunteer of the Year” award from the PMI Central VA Chapter.
