Plein Air on The BIG EDDY at Narrowsburg Logging DaysDATE: Saturday, October 15, 2022; 11AM to 5PMLOCATION: Fireman’s Field, 69 DeMauro Lane, Narrowsburg (SEE MAP)Plein Air on The Big Eddy at Narrowsburg Logging Days is back!  And as one of our favorite fall events, with its namesake the New York State Lumberjack Association Contest, and the Big Eddy at the height of peak color as our painterly backdrop, we hope you’ll join us for a unique day of Plein Air along the scenic Upper Delaware.NEW! Quick Paint + PopUp Gallery + GOLDEN Artists Colors Prizes + GiveawaysThis year we’ve added to the mix with a “QUICK PAINT” competition and PopUp Sales Gallery with $100.00 Award Gift Certificates courtesy of GOLDEN Artists Colors. Artists may still participate as General Admission Plein Air for an afternoon of leisurely painting similar to last year. All are welcome!  ABOUT QUICK PAINT: Registered painters will have roughly two hours to complete one, 5 x 7 mini painting and are eligible to receive a second canvas to complete in another two-hour period. All works must be completed within the 11AM to 4PM timeframe.QUICK PAINT: Artists receive one, stamped, 5 x 7 Centurion OP DLX Linen Panels and Williamsburg Oil Color sample sets. Paintings by registered artists are eligible for display in the PopUp Gallery. with Winners chosen by our jurors will receive Golden Artist Color Gift Certificates, value of $100.00. SEE GUIDELINES: Registration: $25.00 QUICK PAINT JUDGING: Finished work must be submitted to the Pop-Up Gallery by 4PM for judging. Recipients of $100.00 Gift Certificate Awards by GOLDEN Artists Colors will be given to three painters chosen by our judges. PLEIN AIR GENERAL ADMISSION: Artists receive one 5 x 7 Centurion OP DLX Linen Panel and Williamsburg Oil Color sample set. Painting only. Not eligible for PopUp Gallery or judging. Registration: $10.00 Paintings will be on display in the PopUp Gallery for public viewing and same day sales.
