Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonvilleis a growing community for Jacksonville writers. We focus primarily on women, but not exclusively. We strive to reach a diverse audience and to make our programs accessible to all, including all cultural groups, genders, and communities.

Let's Jam For Justice! Join us for a playalong and singalong of all your acoustic and bluegrass favorites from the 60's and 70's and beyond. We're honoring the heart and spirit of our current AND JUSTICE FOR ALL Art Exhibition at this jam.Music spurred a generation of change in the 60s and 70s, and we want to honor that spirit. Whether you play the guitar, banjo, bass, mandolin, or ukulele, everyone will have a chance to sing and play. Bring your instrument or just your voice and have some fun on a beautiful afternoon, surrounded by beautiful art and a welcoming community.Lemonade, iced tea and light refreshments provided. Feel free to bring a snack to share, either finger foods or something more substantial. Please be mindful of reducing the use of single-use plastics; we are trying to reduce our trash and food waste footprint here at Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville.For the safety of everyone, please stay home if you are not vaccinated or if you have recently been exposed or showing any symptoms. We'd love to meet you on Zoom instead for one of our other events!
