Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children returns this year for its 15th edition, taking place from 29 January to 6 February. Continuing its mission as a platform dedicated to children and young audiences, the festival presents a vibrant program of performances, workshops, masterclasses, and exhibitions.This year’s edition explores rhythmic patterns as a central theme—inviting artists and audiences alike to discover rhythm as a shared language that moves through music, movement, storytelling, and everyday life. Through diverse artistic expressions, the festival creates spaces for play, learning, and imagination, fostering meaningful encounters between children, youth, and artists from different backgrounds.يعود مهرجان حكاوي الدولي لفنون الطفل هذا العام في دورته الخامسة عشرة، وذلك في الفترة من 29 يناير إلى 6 فبراير. مواصلًا رسالته كمنصة مخصصة للأطفال والجمهور اليافع، يقدّم المهرجان برنامجًا غنيًا ومتنوعًا يضم عروضًا فنية، وورش عمل، ودروسًا متقدمة، ومعارض فنية.تستكشف هذه الدورة الأنماط الإيقاعية بوصفها محورًا رئيسيًا، حيث تدعو الفنانين والجمهور معًا لاكتشاف الإيقاع كلغة مشتركة تتجلى في الموسيقى، والحركة، والحكي، وتفاصيل الحياة اليومية. ومن خلال أشكال فنية متعددة، يخلق المهرجان مساحات للعب والتعلّم والخيال، ويعزز لقاءات إنسانية ثرية تجمع الأطفال والشباب والفنانين من خلفيات مختلفة.

Hakawy, the only festival for children in Egypt, is an annual festival that hosts workshops, masterclasses, and exhibitions alongside the main performing arts  program to foster a creative outlet and space for both the children and artists.

A﻿ge group: 10- 15 years old D﻿uration: 90 mins L﻿anguage: Arabic building techniques for kids to maintain a platform of sustainable knowledge, circulate the practices, and deliver hands-on experiences through interactive pedagogy. تقدم ورشة عمل "الأرض تستحق" نظرة عن مجال هندسة الأرض وتقنيات البناء التقليدية للأطفال للحفاظ على موارد المعرفة المستدامة ، وتعميم الممارسات ، وتقديم الخبرات العملية من خلال علم أصول التدريس التفاعلي. من خلال ورشة العمل ، سيكون لدى الأطفال فهم أفضل لهندسة الأرض ، وعلاقتها بالناس ، وتأثيرها البيئي. A﻿bout Benaa BENAA Foundation is a Youth-Led non-profit organization that aims at building the capacities of the youth, in order to build sustainable development projects, and create an enabling community in the MENA region. Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. BENAA Foundation emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support youth in order to develop the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. We started in 2015 as an initiative and officially registered as a NGO in 2017. We’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. ع﻿ن بناء مؤسسة بناء هي منظمة غير ربحية يقودها الشباب وتهدف إلى بناء قدرات الشباب ، من أجل بناء مشاريع التنمية المستدامة ، وخلق مجتمع تمكين في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. يتطلب التعامل مع تحديات اليوم حل المشكلات الذين يقدمون وجهات نظر مختلفة ومستعدون لتحمل المخاطر. انبثقت مؤسسة بناء من سعيها لإلهام الشباب ودعمهم من أجل تطوير المجتمع ، ورغبة في الأفعال التي تتحدث بصوت أعلى من الكلمات. بدأنا في عام 2015 كمبادرة وتم تسجيلنا رسميًا كمنظمة غير حكومية في عام 2017. نحن مؤسسة مدفوعة بالأفكار التقدمية والإجراءات الجريئة وأساس قوي من الدعم.
