With weekly improv & sketch comedy shows, new improv classes starting every month, and our nationally-recognized Trill Comedy Festival, Station Theater is the place to go for live local laughs.TICKET REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICYIf you have pre-purchased tickets online, please arrive 15 min before showtime to guarantee the best seating. If you have yet to arrive 20 minutes after the show starts, your tickets may be released to accommodate patrons on the waitlist unless you let us know you are arriving late. Voices Carry is a celebration of Houston&#x27;s female comedic voices in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Both shows feature improv, sketch, stand-up, and musical comedy from the women of Station Theater! Proceeds from this show will be donated to the <a href="https://www.uh.edu/wgrc" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">University of Houston Women and Gender Resource Center (WGRC)</a>. S﻿HOW DETAILS8:00 PM<ul><li>Samantha Martinez (Stand-Up Comedy)</li><li>Ophelia&#x27;s Rope: Ophelia’s Rope is a two-person long form improv group that takes its inspiration from you. That’s right, you. A typical show is kicked off by Ophelia’s Rope asking its audience one or two random questions, proceeding to morph the answers into a setting, plot, and duo of unexpected and sometimes quirky characters. With no story predicted, no ending forecasted, Ophelia’s Rope wanders the worlds of imagination, coloring surprising scenes their audiences inspired. Cast: Autumn Clack, Ruth McCleskey (Improv)</li><li>Katy Sings Your Life: (Musical Improv): Have you ever wondered what it feels like to have someone write a song about you? Katy Sings Your Life is an interactive experience answering that very question! Share a quick story and immediately hear it interpreted as an improvised song! Cast: Katy Manning (Musical Improv)</li><li>Hot Goss: Hot Goss enjoys the finer things in life. Baked goods, fine art, pineapple drinks, and improv comedy. These five veteran performers are sure to put on a show you will want to gossip to your friends about. Cast: Jessica Thompson Falla, Laura Helmers, Tandiwe Kone, Nicole Nodarse, Rachel Spector (Improv)</li><li>Discharged: Everyone needs their slightly questionable yet overly supportive friend, right? With Discharged, you get four for the price of one! As IRL friends, the women of Discharged love each other *fiercely* As improvisers, they love YOU *fiercely* Can you even handle it? Cast: Jessica Thompson Falla, Monica Marcha, Ruth Hirsch, Stephanie Suarez (Improv)</li></ul>*﻿*********9:30 PM<ul><li>Steph Suarez: Steph ‘met expectations’ at her latest job performance review. Come see what all the hype is about! (Stand-Up Comedy)</li><li>Sleepover: Aren&#x27;t sleepovers the best...or worst? This dynamic duo will get a story from the audience about a memorable sleepover and create a world of twists and turns inspired by it. Pack your overnight bag and don&#x27;t forget your toothbrush! Cast: Samantha Barlow Martinez, Nicole Nodarse (Improv)</li><li>The 80s Ladies: Musical sketch comedy with a Gen X flair from the women of The 80s Kids! Cast: Caryn Fulda, Jamie West, Jessica Brown, Sarah Mikayla Brown (Musical Sketch)</li><li>Anna Sankaran: Anna Sankaran is a lawyer by day and a comic by night. She enjoys stepping outside my comfort zone, rising to the occasion and proving people wrong.
 (Stand-Up Comedy)</li><li>Pure Inanimation: Pure Inanimation brings the world of inanimate objects to life in a fun and exciting improv show! Cast: Lisa H. Beckman, Meredith Faber, Stephanie Marzuola, Carolyn Wallace, Jamie West, Sarah Willett (Improv)</li><li>Boobytrap: It starts with a suggestion that inspires real-life stories from the women of Boobytrap. Watch out, or you&#x27;ll get caught in a Boobytrap... maybe you won&#x27;t want to escape! Cast: Erica Escalante, Katy Manning, Sarah Willett, Contessa Ola, Liz Larson (Improv)</li></ul>Tickets: $15 advanced purchase; $20 at the door. Advance tickets are recommended due to limited seating. Showtimes are 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm. Doors open 15 minutes before showtime.
