The Lawnside Historical Society, Inc., is a nonprofit group founded in 1990 to preserve and maintain the Peter Mott House as part of the Underground Railroad and to protect the legacy of historically African-American Lawnside, N.J.

Celebrate the Peter Mott House and the Lawnside Historical Society's anniversary with music, historical re-enactors and young historians.

The Lawnside Historical Society invites members and friends to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Society and 21st anniversary of the Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum. Lovers of Lawnside's heritage banded together in 1990 to promote the borough's heritage and save the Mott House from demolition. Our special supporters will be recognized.Dr. Daisy Century will perform as Harriet Tubman. Mary Cross and her versatile band of musicians will inspire us. Kenneth Scott will remind of us of the last moments of George Floyd's life.The event will end after sunset with a slide show of historic Lawnside photographs.Proceeds benefit repair work on the Mott House.

S﻿inger Mary Cross will bring her band 2NspireU and Dr. Daisy Century portrays Lady Moses Harriet Tubman.
