Event Description
Join us as we build community by coming together to embrace our grief and reclaim our joy. The evening will begin with introductions, group check-ins, and a vocal/body warm-up. Then we go into the heart of our healing work. Accompanied by steady drumming, we will guide participants on how to weave movement and sound into ceremony to express in a wordless way what’s in their hearts. After the energy is released, we sit quietly for a while, then share food and closing words to ground us.
Payment Information    - Extended early bird price (on or before March 6th): $25 + fee    - Regular price (after March 6th): $30 + fee
Upcoming 'Lean In' Series 
This will be the first event in a series where will be working with Francis Weller's 5 Gates of Grief. We deeply believe in creating a space where all feelings are welcome, and all types of grief not only belong but are worthy of sacred witness. We will invite in a new gate each month to welcome and heal the breadth of grief held by our community. If you find yourself not connecting with a gate, come as you are - all grief has a home here.
- March 10th: PLACES THAT HAVE NOT KNOWN LOVE  Honoring the parts of us that have lived outside of compassion, warmth, and welcome. Perhaps the parts of ourselves we hate, hold in contempt, wrap in shame, and try to banish. - April 7th: SORROWS OF THE WORLD  Honoring a sadness that may not be personal but is shared and communal - destruction of our planet, loss of species, global violence, mass shootings, and the world our children will be left with. - May 12th: WHAT WE EXPECTED AND DID NOT RECEIVE Honoring a grief that reaches our core longing to belong and longing to be longed for... to be born into a village with full joyous welcome of our gifts. - June 9th: ANCESTRAL GRIEF  Honoring the unacknowledged and untended sorrow of those who came before us.
Cancellation Policy
We try to make participation affordable because we deeply believe in the importance of making this work available to all. To help manage affordability with the cost of renting the space, snacks, and supporting materials, we are able to offer the following refund policy:
   - Full refund - if cancellation received before the early bird date    - Credit refund for future date - if cancellation received between the early bird date and 24 hours before the event    - No refund - if cancellation received within 24 hours of the event
