The City of West Hollywood will  host "A Community Forum on Prop 1: Abortion in California" on Tuesday, October 18th!  Free Public Event!

<h3>Join the City of West Hollywood for <strong>"A Community Forum on Prop 1: Abortion in California".</strong>  The forum will feature a panel discussion on what pushed the California Legislature to place the proposition on the November 8, 2022 ballot and what it will accomplish, should the voters of California approve the measure. The moderated discussion will feature community leaders and advocates working to protect people’s right to reproductive freedom.</h3><h3>Proposition 1, a California Ballot Proposition and State Constitutional Amendment that, if approved by voters, would establish a Constitutional right to reproductive freedom in California, defined to include a right to an abortion and a right to choose or refuse contraceptives.</h3><h3><strong>Tuesday, October 18, 2022</strong></h3><h3><strong>7 PM to 8:30 PM</strong></h3><h3>The event is free and open to the public!</h3><h3><strong>Panelists:</strong></h3><h3>O﻿nyemma Obiekea, Policy Analyst for Black Women for Wellness (BWW) and its sister organization, Black Women for Wellness Action Project (BWWAP).</h3><h3>J﻿amie Kennerk, Public Affairs Specialist, Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project LA County. </h3><h3>Joey Espinoza-Hernandez, Public Policy Director for the Los Angeles LGBT Center.</h3><h3>L﻿uckie Fuller, Founder of Invisible Men and member of the City of West Hollywood's Transgender Advisory Board.</h3><h3><strong>Moderated by:</strong></h3><h3>Hernan Molina, City of West Hollywood’s Governmental Affairs Liaison</h3><h3></h3><h3><strong>L﻿EARN ABOUT WHAT IS AT STAKE AND HOW TO TAKE ACTION</strong></h3><h3><strong>Location:</strong></h3><h3>West Hollywood City Council Chambers. </h3><h3>625 N.
