Following on from the summer success of The Raging Song (Named SiriusXM Single of the week &amp; chosen by British Airways as the 2022/23 NI representative for their in flight new music show) the Tyrone based alt rock band come to Belfast to launch new single London Bridge in the picturesque setting of St Josephs. The Heathen Choír is the moniker under which singer songwriter Darren Doherty releases and performs his quite unique brand of uplifting sad songs. Formed in Strabane, Northern Ireland in 2017 after getting sober Doherty has independently released a full debut (What You Do – 2017) numerous standalone singles and an emotional juggernaut of a live album (Live at The Ghostlight Sessions – 2020).Topics like alcoholism, childhood trauma as well as social issues sit alongside unabashed love songs all threaded together in his Northern Irish accent with stark honesty and melodies that get inside and never leave.
