Is it time to Invoke Your Medicine Woman and learn to become your own healer?

Or, to be more accurate, they worry that if they reclaim their Medicine Woman gifts, they will be chased out of the village with pitchforks, persecuted and burned at the stake. In other words, they become ‘Secret Witches’, hiding and shaming their gifts.And this is why a call to ‘healing’ rarely feels magical and glamorous - though it is often imagined to be (women often think that to know they are ‘magical’ means they already have to feel magical and live a life that is naturally just full of roses, chocolates and flowers!).The truth of it is that, if you’re a true Medicine Woman - one born here with magical healing gifts - it’s more likely that your magic will actually show up (at least at first) in some deeply painful, unexpected and scary ways - including unwelcome initiations, and fear that your magic will have you tortured, killed and rejected (even if you use it just for yourself).You see, women’s initiation to magic, is actually - usually - a baptism of fire that brings #allthefears.Because of this, often my women will discount and suppress their magic, and end up living dull, grey lives, feeling burned out because they are out of alignment with who they came here to be, and using their power to innocently create a whole load of chaos and drama, instead of magic. They don’t realise that this is due to the deeper underlying fear of rejection - and this leaves them doubting their own power and outsourcing their healing to others to ‘fix’ them, instead of becoming their own magical self-healers (or, more aptly, ‘soul-healers’).What they often don’t realise is that these are the exact signs that typically make them a “Phosphoric Witch” - aka a powerful Medicine Woman, who doesn’t yet know her own magical healing power.
