VIRTUAL: Introduction to Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)

Kristen Mastel

Join me for a virtual forest bathing session to reconnect with nature to reconnect with yourself.

Are you feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Come slow down, de-stress from your daily routine, and deepen your connection to nature. It is different than other nature experiences such as hiking or birding; in forest bathing, we will be slowing down with intentionality and engaging all of our senses through some activities. Give your mind and body some time to rest, wander and wonder in nature.Join Kristen Mastel, Certified Forest Therapy Guide and Outreach Librarian, to discover “Forest Bathing” (The Art of Shinrin-yoku), what it is, along with its health and wellness benefits. For this virtual forest bathing workshop, you are welcome to join from a spot that looks out a window, your backyard, or next to a houseplant.
