This training will inform CRSs/CPSs on how to use their role in interdisciplinary team meetings to improve care for patients

<h3>The benefit of being a part of an interdisciplinary team (IDT) in healthcare settings is that anyone can use their own role to improve the quality of care for the patient, especially in those who have a substance use disorder. This training will inform CRSs &amp; CPSs on how to use IDT meetings to improve communication about the patients’ needs, participate in planning for the patients’ treatment, and how they can use their own role to improve care for the patient.</h3>Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.Presenters: Nicole O'Donnell, CRS, and Tara Calderbank, CRSTarget Audience: This program is designed for Certified Recovery Specialists and Certified Peer Specialists who work in medical settings that support people who use drugs.Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this live activity, participants will be able to: <ol><li>Describe the intricate role the CRS/CPS has within the interdisciplinary team.
