TC ends the season with  a cappella choral singing and choral pieces accompanied by piano – all with the theme of spring!

<p>The final performance in the 2022-23 Tulsa Chorale season features a cappella choral singing and choral pieces accompanied by piano – all with the theme of spring. The first half of the concert is a set of unaccompanied choral pieces, including settings by Edwin Fissinger, Eric Whitacre and Alice Parker. The second half, featuring accompanied pieces, includes works by Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland and Elaine Hagenberg. The final composition is A Jubilant Song – a tour-de-force choral/piano piece by Norman Dello Joio. The concert features four compositions by female composers, and accompanied pieces are played by Cathy Venable, pianist.</p>
