What: Vision Weekend is Foresight Institute&#x27;s annual member gathering on long-term futures. Top talent across biotechnology, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, computing, and space are encouraged to burst their tech silos, and plan for flourishing long-term futures. Come for the ideas: make friends across disciplines, generations, and continents who are similarly on the path to creating positive futures. Join panels, focus groups, mentorship hours, tech demos, sign-ups, and more. Additionally, stay for the festivities: breakfast boogies, mentorship hours, goal-setting jams, art vernissages, and plenty of time for calm reflection; alone, or in groups.Expect engaged discussion on topics including cryonics, DeSci, private ML, computational biology, LEV, space exploration, BCIs, WBEs, AGI, foundational science funding, rejuvenation, molecular nanotechnology, chemputing, computer security, prediction markets, charter cities, and more. On Day 1 we’ll take stock of the tech stack of today (and tomorrow). FORESIGHT INSTITUTEOur community is where breakthrough technologies are born. For the last 35 years, <a href="https://foresight.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Foresight Institute</a>, based in California, has been gathering and supporting the thinkers shaping the edge of science and tech innovation. Nanotechnology, AGI, smart contracts, prediction markets, and specific longevity approaches: name it, we were there for it. Foresight’s programs focus on advancing molecular nanotechnology, biotechnology for longevity, and computer science, but our work extends cross disciplinarily into other related tech fields, such as space, neurotech.We are a positive-future-movement, composed of multiple, specialized, and coordinated sub-projects. Each of them a piece of the puzzle of our grand future.Our membership has grown virtually over the decades. However, we are expanding our horizons and want to meet our global community in person.
