Apex presents The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged

Apex Performing Arts Studio expands the horizons of any young person with an interest in the performing arts.  After several years of successful musical theater intensives,  guest workshops in the school system, rave reviews and sold out shows the studio opened its first location in the Ponte Vedra area to provide opportunities for young people who exhibit creativity, discipline and passion to be provided with a set of skills and experiences which improve their own growth as artists.  Apex Theater Studio is not-for-profit educational center with 501c3 status.

The Apex Theatre Studio will presents The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged on Saturday, October 8th  at the Adele Grage Community Ctr.

A small band of madcap performers in Elizabethan dress (and sneakers) weave their way through all thirty-seven of Shakespeare&#x27;s tragedies, comedies, and histories at a break neck pace. It’s an irreverent rollercoaster ride through all of the Bard&#x27;s plays. The show originally premiered in London and went on to become its longest running comedy. The Today show declared &quot;If you like Shakespeare you&#x27;ll love this show, if you hate Shakespeare, you&#x27;ll love this show.&quot; 
The show is under the director of AJ Allegra, artistic director for the NOLA Project in New Orleans. It features a mixture of teaching artists and students from North Florida’s premiere theatre training studio. “This show was a hit in our summer season. We wanted to bring it to our Atlantic beach audiences during a time when ninety minutes of non-stop laughter is needed,” remarked Ian Mairs, Managing Director.
